The capabilities of the low-capacity Honda Hornet 250 are really a pleasant surprise, as is the whole motorcycle as a whole. Classic road Builder, slightly modernized in appearance,
it successfully combines good technical characteristics, simplicity and never — aging style. Perhaps, in its class, it can even be called one of the best,
and this is not an exaggeration. Moderately compact, light, and powerful by class standards, the Hornet 250 is a perfectly balanced city bike,
which in terms of convenience of everyday driving is not inferior to the universal favorite Honda CB 400.Unless you have to switch gears more often,
but this is difficult to attribute to the disadvantages.
The heart of the motorcycle is the engine from the Honda CBR250RR sports model, which is an in-line 4-cylinder liquid cooling unit that produces 40 HP of power
and almost 24 Nm of torque. Despite some changes and adjustments to increase torque in the low-and medium-speed zone, the motor is
high-speed, showing maximum performance at 11000-13000 rpm. Noteworthy is the timing, which is driven by gears.
This solution was not new for Honda and was actively used on many models of the VFR, VF and CB-1 series.
