Motorcycles of the Honda CX series, were developed and released in the late 1970s, with production ending in most markets by the mid-1980s.This

The design of the motorcycles itself included innovative technologies at the time, which were not found in other motorcycle manufacturers, such as liquid fuel
cooling ,twin carburetors with a single booster pump that runs on both carburetors, electronic ignition, and more.
The Honda CX500 and its modifications were the first in the Honda company to be equipped with a V-Twin engine with a longitudinal crankshaft arrangement. But, unlike the Italian Moto Guzzi
, the cylinder camber angle of the Honda is 80Β°. In this case, the cylinder heads are not located along the axis of the crankshaft.Their angle of rotation is 22Β° (with the intake window in the
side of the frame). With this technique, the designers avoided contact of the carburetors with the pilots ‘ knees.The four-stroke engine with a volume of 497 cc produced 50 hp of power
and 46 nm of torque ,the turbo version has much more impressive indicators than 82 hp and 79 nm of torque.
V-Twin cylinders are cast directly in the crankcase, which complicates the process of major repairs, although there are many examples of owners ‘ reviews in which the engines have passed
more than 200,000 miles without any major repairs of the engine.The crankshaft is located above the gearbox and is located in the same crankcase with it, which made it possible to
