This is my new robot MOC called Quadpod Prime, based on the new LEGO® Education SPIKE ™ kit.
I have always liked building robots with 4 legs, I have been inspired by Joe Nagata’s Lego robots and have been able to create my own designs.
The challenge was to create a Walking Robot using only the pieces from this Lego kit.
To achieve the movement, it uses two medium motors, which are synchronized at the beginning to align the legs. Each motor controls 2 legs. It uses a proximity sensor to detect obstacles.
This is a first version, I want to improve the design of the legs and the programming. However for this first version, I think it moves well.
