For this video I decided to see not only what I could play on just one string, but also what I could play with just one finger. So I decided on picking just the G-string for a few of the riffs that came instantly to mind, but also because of the play-on words that the «G-string» provides. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, then nevermind!
But these 10 classic riffs are pretty much perfect to try on just your G-string, whether you have all your strings, or whether you’re in the process of changing them and you want to literally try the riffs with just the one string. If you can play them normally then try with just one finger… pretty easy with maybe a little practice I think.
