Yamaha TW225 — весьма интересный мотоцикл. Он является дальнейшим развитием модели Yamaha TW 200. Только, в отличие от своего предшественника, является чисто
внутрияпонской моделью, и на вторичном рынке попадается не так уж и часто. Впрочем, различий не так уж и много, поэтому владельцы Yamaha TW225 вполне могут пользоваться
мануалами от TW200.Основное отличие 225-кубового мотора от 200-кубового — чуть больший крутящий момент, и три лишние лошадиные силы. Это, правда, не чувствуется,
если сравнивать оба этих мотоцикла. Кстати, тот же самый 225сс двигатель устанавливается также и на Yamaha Serow 225, но Serow оснащается 6-ступенчатой КПП, что в корне
меняет динамику мотоцикла.
Yamaha TW 225 оснащается 18-сильным одноцилиндровым мотором воздушного охлаждения. Максимальная скорость составляет примерно 110 км/ч, но набирается она быстро
благодаря коротким передачам и малому весу мотоцикла. Подвески — без особенных изысков, но на удивление хорошо глотают дорожные неровности.
А вот штатное сиденье — очень жёсткое, но это норма на мотоциклах этого класса.
